Racing sail : symmetric spinnaker
VMG S1 Doyle

With all of the recent development of asymmetrical spinnakers lately it's easy to forget Doyle's conventional symmetrical spinnakers. Building on past development with geodesic fairing, recent development have been accelerated by enhanced CAD software and analysis tools, resulting in even faster spinnakers. Doyle Sailmakers offers 6 unique spinnaker molds: VMG, AP/Reacher, AP, AP/Runner, Runner (designed for windward leeward courses) & Reacher (designed for reaching legs). All-radial spinnaker with luff length over 55’ will have two center sections. Sails with luff lengths under 55’ will have one center section. Boats with fore triangle aspect ratios greater than 3.3 require two center sections as well.
VMG S1

This sail is designed to for tacking downwind in light air. The sail is designed with narrower girths in the upper portion and a leech profile that is symmetrical and flies closer to the rig.
