FIBERLAY
FiberLay is a load-path reinforced sail that utilizes a light, stable base laminate material as a foundation for load bearing fibers arrayed from the corners of the sail. With 23 years of experience building yarn-bearing sails, Doyle Sailmakers provides a product with a long history of durability and performance.
The FiberLay is a crosscut membrane that is shaped and seamed before the application of the load bearing fibers. The high load yarns run from corner to the opposite side to assure a smooth transition from panel to panel, and with the fibers crossing the seams there is no chance of seam creep or distortion.
