Deaerator eliminates dissolved gases(especially oxygen and carbon dioxide), which can cause erosion inside of pipe and heat exchanger, in feed water and plays a role as an equipment such as heater to heat feed water and keep NPSH of feed water pump constantly.
Spray & tray type are usually used for onshore plant and spray & scrubber type are mainly used for offshore vessel. Dong Hwa has been testing and developing main parts of deaerator like spray, tray and scrubber, and steadily researching for upgrading those performance so far.
