Starting with the GRP hull the rest of the boat will be built in the traditional way with beams for the deck and the deck made of marine plywood covered with GRP, painted with anti slip - or covered with teak. If you are afraid of the maintenance of the woodwork, now-a-days materials are so strong that the varnish keeps up to 5 years in ordinary wear and tear. We have customers coming every 10th year and the varnish still looks nice - customers, who are sailing many regattas. - We just sand and varnish the woodwork for another 10 years.
