DIMENSION-POLYANT CXP cruising laminates are similar to the CXT polyester based line but utilize low stretch PEN fibers. We have created a fabric which in price/performance ratio is very attractive when compared to Dyneema®. The CXP styles offer lower stretch than polyester, yet it is durable and easy to handle in high tech furling sails. Likewise CXT, these styles are produced by laminating two layers of polyester taffeta on both sides of a film-encapsulated PEN scrim and incorporating our patented X-PLY® technology. The construction of the CXP has proven excellent warp stretch performance and great tear strength. The taffetas that cover the film and scrim are extremely rugged and offer optimum chafe resistance.
