"Alchemy" is an all carbon fiber hull and rig, complete with water ballast tanks, and a hydraulic lifting keel. The hydraulics lift the keel more the five feet, allowing the yacht to enter more shallow and sheltered harbors, with a draft of only 9 1/2 feet.
