After our test on the Rhine between Vallendar and Brohl we were completely enthusiastic and summarize here once:
The Balou is an ingenious kayak. It is to be shipped very handily and be packed due to only 30 kg weight also alone in-kindled on the autoroof. A roof luggage carrier is not even used, it is sufficient for 2 thick foam strips, one in front and one in the back as well as 2 tethers or clamping belts, which can be led also by the open car doors through around the boat, if no roof railing is present. Thus it lets load practically in passing and the implementing of a mad paddle route becomes not the fun-living giant project.
