Indeed, the most modern hulls of planing high-speed motorboats approached the sailing ships by the vertical stem and the absence of gyro caging ... and they hulls of sailing ships approached the high-speed motorboats planing by their hulls with evolutionary bilge. There was only one step to make a mixture of both and to draw a mixed hull.
The result gives us with final hull rather close to mythical Corsaire, if it is not that the forms are more powerful (width in the table), that we have the essential steps, and that V presents light concave forms. In addition, the centre of gravity being moved back more on a planing high-speed motorboat, we mitigated this problem by creating a skittle strongly swivelling and a front ballast. The unit advances the centre of gravity of 1.05m.
Point of considering motorization, we put two Yanmar Sterndrives 220 ch. Ces 440 ch propulsent the Mix 30 at 35.2nd according to Vpp calculations'.
With the veil, the Mix 30 is voluntarily little fabric. Indeed in lower part of 10nd, the customers will use the 420ch. Vpp gives us a speed with close with 15nd of 6.29nd. What places the Mix 30 between Sun Odyssey 30i and a Dash 310, that is to say performances comparable with Océanis 31.
