Rod / flag buoys are used for many purposes. Often used in connection with fishing, where you can place a rod with a flag (or other marks) into the centre hole. Likewise, the buoys are frequently used in connection with alternative mooring buoys, where the customer wants another type of rod than the one usually used in ordinary mooring buoys.
