Among the standardised designs you will also find fast catamarans with combined passenger and car capacity under HSC code and low-wash catamarans dedicated to public transport and tourist operation. Worth mentioning is the repeatedly applied SWATH-technique (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull) for passenger crafts, a construction that smoothens every trip over rough waters.
