The renowned expertise of the Damen Pontoons and Barges Division includes barge and pontoon design, building, trade and the exploitation of this craft. The division operates globally from several locations. Its subsidiaries and production facilities, situated in Northern Russia, the Black Sea, South Africa, the Caribbean, Singapore and China are conducted from the Gorinchem headquarters in the Netherlands.

As DAMEN has production facilities in different regions, it is often possible to meet demands in the vicinity of the area of prospective use. As a rule, we make competitive offers thanks to the local construction and, consequently, stock keeping of standardised pontoons and barges.

The product line ranges from 30 m to 130 m, offered in various deck strengths, with or without forecastles, shaped bows, bow ramps or any other options. In many cases our series of standardised pontoons is the solution to a query.
