What is the logistic process of forwarding goods without cargo vessels? Within DAMEN our Cargo Vessels Division is involved in the design and construction of a wide range of cargo vessels, such as multi-purpose cargo vessels, product tankers and container vessels, a spectrum ranging from 4,000 DWT to 20,000 DWT.

Each of our independent yards has its own area of expertise, but all operate according to the same DAMEN concept of standardisation and take part in the ongoing product development of series-built vessels. The standard designs offer proven performance, short delivery times and competitive price levels. The Cargo Vessels Division is also capable of building large specialised vessels to the owner's specifications. These include RoRo vessels and heavy lift vessels.

The production yards are supported at Division level in the areas of logistics, production, sales and financial services. Product development, design and project activities are also highly concentrated in order to achieve the best cost-effectiveness for our clients.
