DAMEN offers a wide range of hydraulically operated rubber ring gate valves. All valves have been designed for reliable and effective flow control of slurry, sand, stones, aggregates and other abrasive materials on board of dredgers as well as ashore on the sand field. The heavy-duty design is such that wear and maintenance duties are minimized.

For optimal efficiency the mixture passage is completely free when the valve is open. The compactly built valve is intended for operation in fully open or fully closed position; the slide can be moved when the pipeline pressure does not exceed 3 bar.

DAMEN offers 2 types of valves : the HRA and the DGV. The HRA-type valve is designed for a maximum pipeline pressure of 6 bar, the DGV-type valve is available in 3 pressure stages: for a maximum pipeline pressure of 6 bar, 10 bar and 16 bar.

The HRA-type valves available range in pipeline diameter from 250 mm to 750 mm., the DGV-type valves available range in pipeline diameter from 500 mm to 1,100 mm.
