In order to increase the pumping distance, booster stations can be placed in the discharge pipeline of stationary dredgers and DOP® pumps. These boosters can be as simple as a skid mounted dredge pump with diesel engine. However the booster can also be equipped with a sound-attenuating casing, it can be designed as a floating self-supporting unit, its drive can be a diesel or an electric motor, and of course the station can be remote controlled.

For our standard cutter suction dredgers, standard booster stations are available. These boosters are container size, all components as far as possible identical to the dredgers. The boosters are powered by CATERPILLAR diesel engines with radiator cooling. The boosters are fitted out with an inspection piece, discharge expansion piece, vacuum and pressure measurement and 24 V lighting.
