D-RC – slewing type davit for liferaft handling, with manual/electrical drive. The system is suitable for launching by gravity and recovery of liferafts, including complete equipment and launching crew, by electric or manual drive. In case of multi-raft handling, the winch drum has a special “quick return" function for fast hoisting of the empty hook. The davit arm is manually brought to the outboard embarkation position by using a worm gear. A remote control for the requirement to initiate lowering from inside the raft is installed. The remote control system is supplied completely with a stainless steel wire and a hand grip.
