Our latest carbon composite oar is 30% lighter than a timber sweep oar.It has been upgraded from 2009 to feature even better durability. It comprises four parts: blade, spigot, shaft and handle. All parts are replaceable so that in the event of breakage the oar can be disassembled and the broken component replaced. This extremely light oar is slightly stiffer than timber sweep oars and very responsive.
