This specially made water separator/filter for diesel fuel must be fitted into the fuel line between the fuel tank and the engine. Nowadays the fuel quality is improved, compared with some years ago, but even so Craftsman Marine recommends to use this filter to be sure of a good quality fuel for your engine. Moisture or condense in a tank can still be a risk for an engine. We designed the fuel filter head with pillared banjo eyes and because of this the installation is done within seconds. Just plug the fuel hose and tighten it with a proper clamp! We recommend to replace the filter every 250 engine hours. This filter is only suitable for diesel-oil!.
