Chance, a Westernman 40, had three first place finishes and won her class (Class C) at the 2001 Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta. Chance not only achieved racing honours, but also a Concours d'Elegance award ("Best Privately Maintained" - Spirit of Tradition Division). Chance is the fourth Westernman 40, a design created by Nigel Irens as an evolution of the Bristol Channel pilot cutter. She was launched by Covey Island Boatworks in 2000.
