The 42’ Summer Kyle design was the subject of a five-page feature article in the August 2000 PassageMaker magazine. After researching and testing Belle Marie, built by Covey Island Boatworks in 1996, Editor Bill Parlatore described her as “a remarkable vessel. She’s an ocean capable boat for coastal cruising, and able to run in just two feet of water. Believe me, the convenience and thrill of being able to rush over water so shoal you can see the bottom clearly is fantastic!”
