With the wideECDIS® series, CONRAC GmbH continues to set the pace and introduces the next generation of wide screen Radar and ECDIS displays.

Modern Radar & ECDIS equipment supports a range of navigational functions, making use of the specific presentation on overlay- or multi-task displays. New installations must not only meet the present requirements of the IMO performance standards, but already today it is evident how to cope with the new Radar standard coming into force July 1, 2008. It is apparent, that data coming from Radar/Arpa, merged with AIS and under- or overlaying electronic charts, will dramatically increase the amount of information displayed on the screens.

As a consequence, CONRAC introduces its new generation of 20, 26 and 27" wide screen displays in 16:10 format: The 6020, 6026 and 6027 SD wideECDIS® MultiTask Monitors.

The superior image performance of the wideECDIS monitors is achieved by selecting high performance full HD panels in combination with CONRAC´s latest state-of-the-art electronics.
