When very big and heavy elements have to be lifted and transported, specifical solutions must be found. In shipyard field for the construction of big ships it is fundamental to take the maximum advantage of time and space in the port. So, it%u2019s necessary to intensify elementary contemporary phases putting into effect many welding points of the several steel structures of the ship. The different elements, then, must be transferred to the final site for assembling. For all of these reasons, Industrie Cometto S.p.A. have realised a range of self propelled vehicles "SYT" (ShipYard Transporter), produced and delivered all over the world. 2, 3, 4, ... up to 36 axles lines with payloads from 80 to 1.000 tons (and even more if different units are coupled). These self propelled vehicles are characterised by and extraordinary ease of handling which makes every manovre easier.
