From the design of Vismara Yacht Design, she is a sloop of almost 15 metres where hi-tech solutions and a true racing deck profile are combined with elegant interiors. Class 47 is a project to produce a series of top -flight, durable sports cruising yachts, classic in its styling and in the construction materials used by the Class yacht shipyard, but extremely modern in its hull, deck, sail plan and appendages design. The comparable dimensions and the same use inevitably led to the transfer of all the experience of the Baltic 47, and the classic and elegant Baltic 47 custom to "Class 47". The real technical and design innovations come instead from the latest fast cruiser, Vismara/Farr 65 "Mister A". In fact, the deck plan is extremely simplified and equipped with only 4 winches, located aft, and with the manoeuvres recessed under the deck and running along special tubes
and organised with aft stoppers. It lacks absolutely nothing, whether it be above or below with enormous spaces for sunbathing and all the possible outdoor comports. The cockpit is open and provided with two wheels, in order to underline the sporty vocation of the project. Many VYD solutions are present on the deck, such as the gangway to be used also as helmsman's settee, or the anchor system, which is recessed in the bow and to be pulled
out thanks to the folding pneumatic arm, and showing the anchor flukes only when it is stored.
