A pile cap is an essential part of a marina's equipment. It dresses up the docking facility, protects the vulnerable top of the piling from water penetration, and discourages birds from perching or nesting on the piling. The pile cap can be secured to wood, concrete or steel pilings.

Polyethylene Caps

Polyethylene piling caps are an excellent and inexpensive way to protect costly pilings from internal rot (Specially from Seagulls!). Just push them on and screw to the pole or drill nail holes and nail.

Caps are made from UV resistant polyethylene with an estimated life in excess of 15 years for black caps, and 9 years on the white caps.
