Floating smoke signal for ships (SOLAS, MED)

A day time man overboard marker. Deployed by lifebuoy and produces 15 Minutes of orange smoke. One should be mounted in the stainless steel bracket supplied on each Bridgewing.

The Pains Wessex Buoysmoke MK2 is identical to the Manoverboard 360 except that it does not feature the lighting system. For use instead of Manoverboard 360 on USA and Japanese flag vessels which require 15 hour lifebuoy lights instead of the standard SOLAS 2 hour requirement.

Application:
Daytime only signal attached to 4 Kg Lifebuoy and used in emergency to mark position of a man overboard. Provides 15 minutes of dense orange smoke. Safe to use on petrol or oil covered water. Automatic or manual deployment. Universal stainless steel mounting bracket. Tested to survive a 50m drop into water (SOLAS 30m). Ideal for use on ships or rigs with high freeboard.
