Cedervall sterntubes with white metal sterntube bearings together with our world known seals forms a combination, which guaranties trouble free operation throughout the entire life of your vessel.

Execution

Cedervall sterntubes are designed for easy installation and trouble free operation. The most common method for installation is "resin-mounting" using one of the well known brands of epoxy. The standard sterntube has 2 white metal bearings with a PT-100 sensor in the aft bearing according to Class rules and customer requirements. Other types of sterntube designs are available to suite the application with 1 up to 3 bearings. All machining and piping for selected seals is done before delivery to minimize installation time.
