Everything was made according to the principals and techniques of the past century except for some indispensable modem safety features. The sailing ship began to take shape with a meeting between Owner, Designer and Shipyard: the boat featured plank construction, gajf rig, bow and stern quarterdecks, a large aft salon and cabins from amidship forward. The rig is a simplified brigantine with gaff-rigged mainsail square sail at the fore masty staysail between the main and the fore masts, forejib, big jib and inside and outside jibs.
