Canopus SCR catalyst blocks are made of 100% catalytically active material of the so called Full-contact type. This catalyst structure counteracts losses in activity, since a slight amount of abrasion always exposes fresh active material at the catalyst surface and makes it available for NOx removal.
The catalysts are mounted with padding inside stainless steel cassettes enabling them to withstand severe vibrations and the harsh environment in a marine diesel exhaust funnel.
