Use Brownell keel stands in place of conventional wood blocks to support the boat's weight. Using keel stands is more efficient than traditional blocking because it saves a lot of labor. Use one keel stand for each 10,000lb / 4,550kg of vessel weight, spaced evenly along the keel. Always use a minimum of two keel stands. Boats should be stored on a flat, even surface.
