Search and Rescue vessels are designed and built at Brödr. Hukkelberg.
Design and Construction
Our standard design is 12 meters in length and utilises our well-proven design of a fully planing deep V hull in marine grade aluminium and superstructure of GRP sandwich construction. The boats are built for maximum safety of the crew and survivors, is self-righting and with all voids in the boat filled with special foam, the vessels are unsinkable.
The superstructure provides comfortable accommodation for crew with extra space for survivors and stores in the forecabin.
