Cast iron cylinder block, highly ribbed
Built up cast iron liners, wet type, guided at mid heigh to reduce vibrations and improve cooling of upper part
Monobloc cylinder head, in special cast iron, extremely rigid
Attachment of cylinder heads on cylinders block by high strength steel bolts
2 valves per cylinder with built up guides and seat
Special forged steel crankshaft, 5 bearings, with integrated counter weights and hardened journals and connecting radius
Balancing shaft mecanically driven
Camshaft side mounted in cylinder block
Distribution system with tempered special steel gears
Forged steel connecting rods,with straigh head cut
Light alloy pistons
High performance piston rings (three rings of which superior one is in molibdenum)
