The proven and popular LeisureCat 6000 Islander. Designed for the serious day fisherman, with walk-around decks that include two forward platforms for fly-fishing. The deck is fully moulded with a raised cockpit coaming and moulded side pockets forward and aft. Either side of the rear walk-through door are built-in fish/bait box and a storage box which can be fitted out as a live-bait tank. A forward lounge seat has a hinged top with stowage under. An optional removable dual seat for helmsman and passenger is also available. There are moulded recesses for fire extinguisher and EPIRB to keep these necessities from catching unwary legs. The standard full-length wave-breaker and in-hull engine pods ensure a soft, dry ride. Fitted with twin 90hp Honda 4-stroke engines, the test model raced across an offshore chop at 35 knots. As always, layout can be customized to suit your needs.
