No need to alter your mainsail cover, just slack the lazy jacks forward out of the way of the mainsail cover and the owning.
The ATN lazy jacks will not vibrate and bang on the mast, for they are led off the mast from the spreaders, allowing the mainsail an easy hoist without fouling.
