Boat trim tab system Arcturus Marine
INTRAC
InTRAC yacht stabilizers are mounted on the transom, flush with the bottom. To create lift, the inTRAC actuator extends a blade downward into the flow of water. The blade's intrusion creates a high-pressure zone in front of the actuator that creates lift. Depending upon controller configuration, the lift can be used to reduce roll or pitch.
The inTRAC actuator is primarily of composite construction with stainless hardware. Position of the inTRAC stabilizer blade is controlled by a specially designed hydraulic cylinder of all-stainless construction. Rod scrapers are fitted to keep the rod clean. An internal spring keeps the inTRAC actuator and rod retracted while not in use.
inTRAC utilizes standard TRAC digital controls and LCD pilot house user panels. TRAC's 3-term control software instantly detects changes in trim and roll and adjusts the stabilizer actuator for needed lift.
