Dual Front and Rear Steering-The Jetbike is the only personal watercraft offering a simultaneous front and rear steering mechanism. Other personal watercraft are steered through the side-to-side movement of a steering nozzle located at the rear of the craft. With the Jetbike's patented dual steering safety system, the front steering ski is controlled by the rider turning the craft's handlebars, which simultaneously controls by cable the movement of the rear jet propulsion steering nozzle. The two mechanisms work in unison to provide safe steering for the craft.

Throttle-off Maneuverability-In addition to maneuverability when applying power, the Jetbike is the only personal watercraft that maintains steering control in a "throttle-off" or "dead engine" condition. Other personal watercraft rely exclusively on engine power (throttle-on) to steer and lose steering control when the engine is shut off, quits or the throttle is released by the rider in a panic situation. This condition can create an operational safety hazard, particularly when those craft are traveling at moderate or high speeds. In contrast, the Jetbike's unique front ski allows safe maneuverability of the craft, even when the throttle is off. This feature offers important and unequaled safety and handling advantages in emergency, racing and other situations where safe throttle-off maneuverability under forward motion is imperative.
