Description

The Wind Blazer is the perfect boat for the beginner or experienced skipper. It is simple to rig, simple to sail, very durable, and full of performance. It is also an ideal boat for training, rental, or resort use with features hard to find in other competitive boats of this size and price range.

Sail Design - The mainsail on the Wind Blazer is sleeved over a two piece mast, which makes transport easier. Best of all, on heavy air days the sail can be made smaller with a few wraps around the mast. Plan to pull the boat up on shore and leave the mast up? No problem, at the end of the day just wrap the sail around the mast and you'll find there is a sewn in UV sun protection cover.

Rudder System - The rudder system featuers a stainless steel rudder head and heavy duty stainless steel mounting bracket on the transom. The spring loaded mounting pin makes it easy to mount and remove the entire system from the boat. It also includes a tiller extension (hiking stick) and a rudder lift system to raise and lower the blade from the cockpit.

Equipment - Standard on the Wind Blazer are Harken®blocks, Harken® swivel mainsheet cleat, and Harken® boom vang.
Construction - The hull is constructed of handlaid fiberglass utilizing a sandwich core of "coremat". All the hardware is backed up with aluminum plastes under the fiberglass instead of commonly used wood making all the hardware attachment points extremely strong with no chance of wood in future years of use. There is also substantial foam flotation inside the hull and in the mast.
