The 85' series is designed by American Expedition Yachts to be easily handled by a cruising couple. The full displacement hull form enables the yacht to comfortable push through seas without any unpleasant motion and slip effortlessly through the water. The yacht displaces over 300,000 lbs., will cruise at 10.5 knots and a have a range of 5000 miles.

The interior volume is enormous with a 23' beam and meticulously detailed out by master craftsman, using exotic woods and finishes. There are three guest staterooms, a master stateroom and a bunk room for the crew or captain. The pilothouse aft is enclosed by a full Portuguese bridge and is located over the center of gravity.
