interVOLT's MAXI Series Voltage Converters have long been the industry benchmark for the marine and transport industries, where performance, longevity and quality is paramount. Since its release in 2001, the interVOLT SVC series has undergone a complete transformation and the next generation has now emerged.

A major innovation of the GEN II is the introduction of the operator interface panel. This provides specialized control and monitoring functions such as output voltage adjustment, battery charger mode, and load monitoring of the output. In addition pre-emptive and shutdown alerts cater for conditions such as over load, over temperature, low input voltage and low output voltage (battery charging mode only) which can also be remotely monitored.

interVOLT's GEN II Series is not just a cosmetic 'make-over,' rather a brand new product from the ground up. The all new design features total digital control with a specification that is second-to-none. Some other features and benefits of the new range include:

* Remote operator control to turn unit on/off with signal current only.
* Multifunction alarm output for fault and pre-emptive warnings.
* Minor Power Output - a permanent low.
* Current output used in conjunction with remote.
* Isolation i.e. to power a clock, etc.
* Temperature and speed controlled internal cooling fan (hydro bearing).
* Heavy duty termination with separate, removable terminal cover.
* Conformally coated printed circuit board assembly (tropicalization).
* User adjustment of the voltage output from 12.0V to 14.0V in 0.5V increments.
* Reset to factory defaults.
