This Wave Patroller is a fast twin engined monohull landing craft design with a shallow draft making her ideal for use on rivers and inland waterways. She was supplied to the London Fire & Civil Defence Authority for operations on the River Thames. Internally she is fitted with seating for four crew and five fire-fighters and externally she has fire monitors and a deck manifold fed by a separate diesel driven fire pump (1800l/min). She has keel protection to allow her to beach and a bow ramp for easy access.
