The ‘Edradour’ is the second of the exciting new Wave Diver class boats to be delivered by Alnmaritec. This new dive support boat, which was designed by Camarc Limited, carries a full surface dive fit with integral bottle storage and dive panel with a customised dive platform, dive ladder and diver recovery A-frame at the aft end. She is designed to be self righting and classed as MCA category 1 making her capable of operating in the harsh conditions to be expected in the North Sea and with her twin 610bhp engines coupled to the waterjets she is a powerful boat with an excellent turn of speed. She has twin Henriksen release hooks to allow her to be davit launched from a mother vessel and in the forward cabin she has a full survey suite. She has two generators and her versatile main saloon is designed to either accommodate three additional surveyor stations or convert into seating for crew transfer duties. She is a rugged and truly versatile workhorse.
