Airmar has taken the SS270W, wide-beam thru-hull and split it into a pair of Tilted Element™ transducers—one for each frequency. The low-profile design is perfect for fast, trailered, tournament and sportfishing vessels that cannot install a thru-hull with a High-Performance Fairing. The 200 kHz transducer has four times the beamwidth of other top performers. This means marking more game fish and bait in a larger area, increasing your catch.

Since the beamwidths are the same at both frequencies, a split-screen, fishfinder display will clearly show the same water column and bottom coverage. Fish will also appear as arches.
