On top of its undeniable performance as a world class tourist attraction, the fully amphibious HoverFlyer, which was first manufactured in 1989, has also proven itself an adaptable and sizeable work craft. The HoverFlyer’s suitability to perform diverse operations is endless. Some of those include seismic surveying, aquaculture, weed spraying, flood rescue, stock feeding and oil rig support. Additionally, private owners take full advantage of the HoverFlyer as a yacht tender, to access fishing, diving, holiday house and hunting areas. Keeping in mind the demands and pressures of the 21st century, the HoverFlyer design has recently been upgraded to include a new deck mould which provides a slightly increased length and more modern styling. Current models also have the Subaru EFI engine and auto clutch fitted, which provides spirited performance and increased payload. An optional road trailer makes this design easily transportable and practical at every level.
