The shape of the rudder and the profile of the fin are the result of state-of-the-art research aimed at delivering high speeds and blistering performance as well as allowing helmsmen perfect control and easy handling in any kind of navigation and weather condition. The development and optimisation of these geometries are based on the constant flow of information that our studio gathers in real time from its yachts: Maxis, Minimaxis and TP52s that compete with great success all over the world. The wide maximum beam that runs uninterrupted all the way to the stern yields an unusually large saloon area for a yacht of this size. These elements together with the most advanced technologies allowed us to create a design of unmatched beauty that performs incredibly well under sail yet is outstandingly easy to handle. The A66 is brainchild of two world-class design studios: Nauta Design and Reichel/Pugh.
