We produce Thermoplastic Sandwich-panels and offer semifinished materials for all-thermoplastic sandwich systems. Most TP-resins bond directly on our ULTRATECT -PES foam - with the exception of PP. A complete system with only one polymer type is especially interesting. Molded sandwich parts can be heat-formed directly with the IR-heated composite faces on the cold thermoplastic core, if the core material is heat resistant enough. In the case of our ULTRATECT-foam core, this can be done without heat-forming the core before, because the foam can be elastically deformed 3-dimensionally below its glass transition of 224°C.
