Description Soundac BM1000 is a flexible vinyl sound barrier mat with on one side a smooth decorative top layer and on the other side hessian. The hessian layer is used to add strength and dimensional stability. This very flexible barrier mat with high density is designed to improve the sound insulation of existing panels of metal, aluminium, wood, plastic etc. Application Soundac BM100 is very effective in overcoming coincidence dip resonance found in stiff lightweight composites such as plywood sheets and hollow core panels. Examples of such applications are the reduction of sound of engines, machines, compressors, generators, sound insulation of air ducts, piping and separation walls. The sound barrier mats are well suited and easy to combine with the Soundac AS sound absorbing foams.
