Battery with AGM technology (Absorbed Glass Mat) with gas recombination that allow the
recombiantion of more than 99% of gases generated during usage being totally hermetic;
Manufacturing Technology:
- plates in 'lead-calcium' alloy with reinforced grids in which is wrapped an absorbent material
- soaked in acid that provide extra performance;
- separators in fiberglass;
- container in ABS-HB (UL 94-VO) – flame retardant -
- inoxidizable terminals and corrosion-proof.
“VRLA” Technology (Valve Regulated Lead Acid)
- instead of ventilation plugs on the cells, the batteries are equipped with pressure valves which
open only on extreme conditions, designed to operate between 2 and 5 psi;
- designed to reduce the possibility of gas production, blocking the release in the atmosphere of
oxigen and hydrogen produced by galvanic action of the battery during the charging phase.
Energy supply:
- it is possible to discharge the battey up to 85% and therefore it is available more energy to feed
all heavy consumptions, as for example on boats.
Extreme vibration resistance and strong-hold at 100% against capsizing and spilling
Practicality and safety:
- this kind of battery is designed to prevent the loss of electrolyte through evaporation, dripping or
gassing and are classified as “non-dangerous” for road, maritime and air traffic (IATA -ICAOIMDG);
- being devoid of acid exhalation and leakage these batteries do not require particular places for
their usage and can be installed also in closed environments with few ventilation;
