- 35.8m 117' 6"ft An above-average successful owner always values an above-average yacht. An example for this is Extra-Beat, at the time of her completion in 1988 the largest sloop in the world. And still up until today her incredible 45m mast and 710m² sail area make her one of the most remarkable yachts sailing the seven seas. And still, the 35,8m ship is a class of her own. Judging by the shape, a typical racing yacht, but it isn't designed for regattas or long voyages. It rather is a huge day-sailor, that, to match her owners' premises, is characterised by speed and easy handling. With no symptoms of old age: Extra-Beat has recently made winner of the day at a regatta around sailors' Mecca, the Isle of Wight.
