MISSION™ XC - 0.7 - 7 t/h Aalborg Industries

The MISSION™ XS economizer is designed for recovering heat from the exhaust gas of diesel engines for production of steam. The design is tailormade according to exhaust gas demand and temperature. The boiler has a high gas velocity so as to minimize fouling.

The economizer is carried out with the smoke tubes welded to the tube plates at both ends, and this robust design can, in emergency cases, withstand running dry. Type MISSION™ XS 2V comes with its own steam space and is able to operate independently from the oil-fired boiler/steam drum.

MISSION™ XS-7V is designed for forced circulation and operation together with an oil-fired boiler.

For compact and easy installation MISSION™ XS can be equipped with integrated silencer.

The sizes of the economizers depend on required steam capacity, amount of exhaust gas, temperature, and working pressure.

In connection with a thorough revision/ standardization of Aalborg Industries' marine boiler product range, the exhaust gas economizers previously referred to as AQ-2 and AQ-7 have been renamed to MISSION™ XS-2V (with steam space) and MISSION™ XS-7V (without steam space). The abbreviation refers to eXhaust gas Smoke tube boiler, Vertical model.
