Offshore Oil Spill Recovery Vessel
Offshore oil spill recovery vessel for use with major oil slicks and discharges. Catamar can work efficiently up to force 5 and with a clean up rate of 100 m3/hr continuously.
A turbine creates the flow, sucking in the hydrocarbons.
This flow between the twin hulls of Catamar is towards a tank equipped with a mesh to hold back solid waste.
Storage
For a pollution lower than 50m3 or a degasification, the own storage capacity of CATAMAR is sufficient.
In case of major pollution, recovered hydrocarbons are progressively transferred from the Jumbo25 into a bunker barge sailing behind the Jumbo25 (bunker barge storage capacity: 1000 to 8000 m3 maximum).
200 m3 bladders equipped with an integrated screw pump can be stored on the deck increasing Jumbo's own storage capacity while waiting for the bunker barge to arrive.
Performances
Considering the weather conditions in the working area, CATAMAR performs as follows:
- Beaufort force 3 included : 70000 m 2 cleaned / hour with her arms covering a 10 m width

FINTRY CarboCAT Multi-Purpose-Vessel
The FINTRY CarboCAT Multi Purpose Vessel (MPV) was developed as a future-oriented ship concept for many different uses at sea. It combines the advantages of innovative carbon fibre composite technology with those of the tried-and-tested catamaran philosophy.
The FINTRY CarboCat offer various advantages over mono-hull such as, for instance lower displacement resistance, higher initial stability and superb seaworthiness. Aparticular feature of FINTRY CarboCATs, however, is the composite structure made of carbon fibres that has been successfully used in commercial shipbuilding for some years.
Thanks to this technology, coupled with the high-quality materials, FINTRY CarboCAT Multi Purpose Vessel sets new quality standards with regard to efficiency and longevity.
The uses of FINTRY CarboCAT MPVs are diverse:
• Pilot | Patrol
• Offshore Wind Farm Support
• Diving | Survey
• Cargo Ferries
• Aquaculture | Fishing
• Pollution Control
• Fire & Rescue Assistance
