These three boards represent Drops interpretation of the wave-compact concept; they have been created (or typical european wave conditions with onshore winds and small to medium waves. Hose and tail are bigger than those of traditional waveboards, the hull starts with a concave area that then turns into double concave near the tail (or early planing and stability in choppy conditions. The upwind performance is superior to a traditional waveboard's one and they can be used with an extremely wide sailrange

FULL WOOD SANDWICH Technology with with T-stringers in the bottom, Limited Finish.
KAULI'S TWINSERS
Kauli Seadi 3 times Wave World Champion and originator of the current twin fin trend inspired the whole wave riding scene with his first twinser boards.
His concept proofed its edge allowing every rider to carve more radical turns on every wave. Any rider was able to push his wave riding skills to a new level. His first line was so well received and the feedback overwhelming that we extended the range to 5 sizes. Working with Kauli and his professional approach helped Werner to come up with a board line which offers exceptional performance in average quality waves right up to epic mast high days.
SHAPE NEWS
Kauli and Werner developed a new radical bottom shape using deep double concaves with a very special V flow. The advantages are substantial, unknown grip in the turns combined with lots of lift from the flatter curve inside the concaves make the board ride very freely, fast and comfortable.

This board is so much fun to sail. It’s a board for all conditions, it planes super early, great for flying out through the surf easily and letting rip a big air! High speed, great turning and jibing are also part of the package. That is the reason why it earned its position over the years as the benchmark board in its group.
With particular attention to retaining the proven balanced performance, which works perfectly in any conditions, we focused the new design improvements on easy sailing and a more comfortable ride, also adding greater radical wave riding ability.

|
|
If you like to ride waves in a surfer like style – close to the critical section – with radical vertical turns and powerful snap backs off the top (Kauli Style) there is simply no better choice.

The pure wave board in the range, excellent in surf, the Techno Pro 54 is also a great strong wind board for tricky conditions, ideal for lighter weight riders.
The new Techno Pro range makes an ideal quiver for riding with top quality equipment in all kinds of conditions. Made from Epoxy Sandwich, the Techno Pro slalom boards are Marco Copello signature boards, while Pierre Bracard's name is on the wave and wave slalom boards. To create a full quiver, we chose a range of boards that each has a program particularly suited to the various wind and sea conditions that you can encounter. In light to moderate winds riders want to get up to planing fast and have great forward speed : the Techno Pro 80, 74 and 64 are pure race and slalom designs. As the wind gets up and the waves start to swell, the Techno Pro 65 and 57 come into play with their wave slalom shapes that are both fast and highly manoeuvrable. For strong, sustained winds and waves the Techno Pro 54 is the best suited in the range ! It's over to you to choose the board according to your weight and to the water conditions!

Shock wave is our go to wave board. It will handle any conditions you get yourself into. From onshore waves to offshore wave sailing this board will excel.
The new shapes have a more rounded nose that makes it much easier to position the board in the bottom turn and hold it through even the toughest chop dew to that more of the rail gets into the water, The board also has a faster rocker line on it which in combination with the tail kick really helps the performance in both onshore and offshore conditions.
The bottom shape really helps easy foot steering and the transition from rail to rail.
The stance has also become wider; this makes it easier to move your body weight back and forth over the board. In the turns this really helps burry the nose in the bottom turn and then be able to unleash in the top turn's.

The Naish Global (uses all of the best aspects of wave, bump and jump, and high wind flat water boards into a single product that can do it all. Fast, loose, early planing and easy jibing, the Global is offered in a range of sizes to fit every rider.
The Global includes two fins that let the rider fine tune it to different conditions, and is the ultimate 'one board solution' for performance windsurfers.
|
|
Naish delivers the only pro-level production waveboards on the market, while most pros use custom boards by independent shapers that have nothing to do with the product the entire Naish team has been riding production boards since day one.
The result is the best of both worlds - the top riders including Robby Naish and Kai Lenny work directly with the design team to insure custom level performance, yet the boards have the incredible balance of durability, consistency and light weight that is only possible with production technology.

The 2009 Quatro Wave boards are being greatly influenced by what Pro Riders allover the world define as the new standard in wavesailing. Quick turning and a lively feel on the waves, or as Keith Teboul puts it "The vibrant balance between a drivey enough board and a turny enough board. Our wave boards are real wave boards.

A completely new range of boards has been generated for the Da Curve’s. New outlines, new rocker lines and rail shapes are just the beginning of this down the line destroyer. We have learned that a single or twin fin setup work on the same shape, so we will have both options available- single or twin! Our team has been instrumental in getting these boards to where they are now. Top of the line performance, top of the podium results- watch out.
|
|
|
Taking the exact outline and rocker line from his twin brother, the HD version of the Da Curve is a solid performer. The board turns with precision from the perfected outline and has the stability that comes from the single fin. This board remains a winning classic shape that works for every condition.

With the success of last years Pocket Wave, we have chosen to keep this board the same.
We put in so much time and energy to achieve perfection that it only makes sense to stand behind our efforts. This years Pocket Wave is a result of 4 years of development- it is a solid performer.
New in 2010 is the T-Lab X-Wave Fin line. We shortened for better manoeuvrability, but we kept the same planning and accerleration ability from last year fins!

Whatever the conditions of the day throw at you, the X Waves will be able to rip it up. These 3 weapons shaped by Pierre Bracar represent the ultimate in handling and control so that you can carve up the corners with style, and have a lot of fun doing it. Pick your line, however tight it might be, and then off you go without hesitation. All of the boards are designed to tackle all conditions, it is just a matter of choosing the size engine that you are likely to be using more often. The largest is more forgiving for those who are just getting started, while the smallest is a machine that the experts will fall in love with. Super responsive, quick acceleration, and total control.
|
|
This board triggered a true revolution in the wave discipline, for perfect or light conditions.
The shape has proven to be even more efficient: its manoeuvrability has never yet been equalled on the market; its capacities for surfing are amazing; its control is incomparable in high winds.

The outstanding performance of our Seal boards in the surf has obviously raised the bar for us. This was forcing us to be very demanding in our new Concept Wave board development and, we set ourselves the objective to design highly manoeuvrable but also much faster shapes, for a different, aggressive, approach of the waves.

The "Tri" fin option was our obvious conception, as it makes surfing and radical sailing possible in all conditions. The concept suits everything from on shore to side shore, yet the sailors still have the option of a single fin configuration if desired.

Many top riders still favor directional single fin designs in a broad span of conditions. Our brief this season was clear. Widen the scope of turning angles without losing speed or sensation. Aggressive use from down-the-line perfection to blown-out storm waves demands a vast scale of feel and control. The three smallest models now come in 69, 76 and 83 litre sizes.
These all-new shapes are shorter and wider with fuller and softer rails for tighter turns and extreme, dependable grip. We’ve also added tail rocker and tuned the double concaves to maintain speed through any lines you choose to draw. The NewWave 91, our hardcore machine for heavier rippers and light wind addicts, rounds-up the line with an unchanged shape.
And of course, all of the 2010 NewWaves are available in high-end Team Edition versions too. This full Carbon Kevlar deck and Carbon bottom lay up both axes weight and dramatically increases stiffness and performance.
Key Features:
- Shorter, wider compact outline
- Fuller, softer rails forward of outline center featuring softer, tucked-under edge
- Tuned double concave bottom shape for speed and carving momentum
- Amplified tail rocker for tighter, faster turns
- Even volume distribution for control in both light and powered conditions

A wave board for all conditions! That’s the task our shaper Klaus Jocham placed before himself. The result: the new MADD Wave 76. The mono-concave shape throughout the bottom, allowed Klaus to distribute 76 liters volume in only 233 cm length and 56 cm width. The Carbon-Kevlar double sandwich construction with reinforcements in both nose and rails provide a very durable board for any wave or jump. The new shape allows for extremely short fins. The two Twinser fins, only 16.5 cm in length, give you a very loose feel and lots of power for blazing wave rides. MADD Wave 76 – The new dimension in the waves!
MADD WAVE 83
The HiFly MADD WAVE is the wave board for all conditions and any wave. Whether Cape Town, Hawaii or North Sea – the MADD WAVE doesn’t care where you subject it to the elements.

The new Twinsers are so easy to turn, and now have the extra control in the turn to ride even more aggressive and committed. Nothing turns tighter than these boards. No matter how experienced you are your wave riding will reach a new level - guaranteed. You won’t believe your own bottom turns and cut backs. The Twinsers shine in side on to side offshore conditions - if you mainly sail in onshore stuff consider the new Wave line.

THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
Jason Polakow’s signature line now with an all new twin fin set up.
Since many years Jason is the benchmark in performance. His style is unique and the entire wave scene credits him for his extreme big wave riding skills and unmatched fast, powerful radical carving style.
Jason saw the advantages the twinser set up was offering and has developed boards to mirror his style and perform best in the conditions he loves the most - big, down the line, wave sailing.

The 2010 Twinzer has become a more radical wave riding board. More Rocker, a more harmonious outline, little wider in the nose and then gunning out the tall together with soft rails makes it hold at any speed in the bottom turn.
The bottom shape ensures early planning while still keeping the ease to roll the board rail to rail. With again a wider stance it is a great feeling of control once you get yourself into the bottom turn and with the added rocker the board is super easy to redirect in the turns as well as unwind in the cut back so to be able to hit the wave later and harder.
For the 2010 line up this is your weapon of choice if you are looking for modern design wave riding board. It will handle side onshore to onshore conditions well but will truly excel in the surf.

A year has passed since we introduced the Quatro Wave Twin Fin boards, and the response has been overwhelming. A number of both professional and casual sailors have shifted gears and gone for this powerful design. What has been a rarity is now the new trend. These boards allow you to finish your turns all the way, resulting in a continuous motion from the bottom turn to the off the top, going right back down the line.
