Our world champion Formula is 150% dedicated to its discipline.
A Race Slalom shape of 140 litres aimed for accelerating in small wind; its rails offer the support essential to play with the limits of the wind, enabling you to go upwind without penalising your speed.
Shape characteristics:
Scoop: stretch, for quick planning and speed in light winds
Out line: compact, for good planning, manoeuvrability, control
Rails : voluminous
Hull: concave & double concaves that stretch the rocker line and make the board accelerating.
Vee: on the tail, for easiness in jibes and control.

We have pushed the on water testing of the new Warp to the max and integrated all the development necessary to make this new weapon a truly unique board.
At 158 liters the board has been slimmed down quite a bit compared to its predecessor, but performance on the plane has increased considerably. It pop out of the water in the slightest of breeze, and tracks really well upwind due to the very sharp rails all the way to the last quarter where it concludes with a chamfer for control on down wind legs. |

| The Free 160 combines the great planning and upwind abilities of a formula race board and the excellent manoeuvrability and control of a fast freeride board. The combination of short and wide outline and evenly placed volume makes this board an outstanding fast and controllable early planning freerace board with amazing jibe abilities for great fun. |

World Champion & European Champion: Starboard's Formula boards simply dominated the past season and the current season by taking the top places in all major events, including all top eleven places at the Worlds last year, then the Midwinters and the European Championships this year. With these top eleven places at the Formula Worlds 2006 followed by the European Title, Starboard's Formula 160 became the most successful racing board in Windsurfing history.
Three key points make Starboard's lead unassailable: R&D, R&D and R&D. Simply put, Starboard invests more in racing shape development than any other team: Tiesda You, Jim Drake, Remi Vila, Svein Rasmussen, Per Andersson, Antoine Albeau, Kevin Pritchard and Julien Quentel plus the ability to make more protoypes faster creates a unique and unequalled development synergy.
For 2008, this R&D advantage becomes more critical than ever: ISAF have frozen Formula designs for 2 years to boost the stability of the class and promote it as a strong Olympic contender in 2012. |

| The first to set the tempo, the Pacer opens the doors on a new perception of raceboards. Morphing Formula power with longboard pedigree, from 6 through 30 knots, the Pacer sets the standard of modern course racing. Now registered in the Race Board class, accessible, affordable racing is at last a reality especially below the critical 10 knots mark. |

| The Warp X concept allows racing in any conditions from sub planing breeze to full force gales. Finally, the fun of the past's met the potential of the future. The first class innovations start at the tail. The STA (Step Tail Adapter) adds waterline and gives effortless glide in light winds. With or without the adaptor, the high aspect X fin gives exceptional speed both on and off the wind. Drag is virtually cut by the slender pintail. |

The Phantom development started by reviewing classic longboards from the early eighties. Light wind features were integrated by keeping a rounder middle and front section with lots of forgiving tuck-under rails and a length stretching to 300 cm. The middle back rocker is flat for planing and improved high wind characteristics. The stretched hull provides directional stability and the 80cm width a slippery feel in a happy non-planing mode.
The 3 step adjustable mast track has markings to indicate ideal settings. When the 3 step mast track is in the front position, the board steers well into the wind with the 50 cm daggerboard. With the track in the middle position and the dagger retracted, the board glides comfortably, easily and gradually onto a plane. By using the back track position, the 54 cm fin engages with a more powerful planing feel for reaching in higher winds.
A full EVA deck design provides extra comfort; the softer rubber gasket seal and extra large EVA knob makes operating the daggerboard easy.
The board is a missing link between progressive lightwind cruising and a comfortable in-the-straps planing sensation. |

| Designed for the Slalom 42 format, these boards cater for the dedicated racing fan, including two shiny new models for light winds. As ever, we've prized comfort and control to aid top end speed and maneuverability. Triple level ergonomic power pads give grip and power in critical conditions, and our intelligent shock absorption makes better use of the decks natural dome. This superior system provides dampening, but keeps direct response underfoot. You'll also benefit from heaps of feeling with a straight stance in light winds, and maintain outboard drive when the going gets heavy. |

Flight control at speeds of more than 40 knots! Built for one use only…... SPEED!
The smooth, frictionless rocker line and moderate width create the best combination for maximum speed in all water conditions. At 48cm wide and 242cm long, the Falcon Speed has superb control in choppy water and easily carries a very wide variety of sail sizes. The CAD designed scoop-rocker line allows a lower trim over the water, ensuring great control and easy gibing, at the highest speeds. |
